Addressing the Language Barrier

 

Clear and concise communication is critical in the construction industry. The ability to speak and understand English at the job site makes the job safer for everyone and ensures quality construction.

cNI and the National Center For Construction Education and Research (NCCER) have partnered to develop an Online Instructional Language Series to help address the language barrier between Spanishspeaking and English speaking employees. This twopart series provides a unique solution to the language challenges facing the construction industry. Our goal is to provide a practical tool for both Spanishspeaking and English speaking employees to function and communicate safely on the job site.
