Mr. Rojas received a Bachelor of Science Construction degree in 1976 from the School of Engineering at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He is presently the Manager of Electric System Operation & Maintenance at SRP. During his 35-year career at SRP, Tony has spearheaded several major projects including hydro, coal, gas/oil turbine and generating plants, corporate operations facilities, a 43 mile coal haul railroad spur, and a $470 million flue gas desulphurization retrofit. For many years Tony has been actively involved with Construction alumni and advisory boards at two Arizona universities. He is also involved with the Western Council of Construction Consumers (WCCC), Habitat for Humanity Valley of the Sun Board, and State of Arizona Character Counts Education Foundation.
Steve McClain is Vice President and CFO of Klondyke, Inc., a general contracting firm focused on heavy civil; electric power generation, distribution, and transmission; and infrastructure projects serving electrical utilities, public entities and private. Prior to Klondyke, Mr. McClain was a founder and served as VP/General Manager and a Director of ACM Equipment Rental and Sales, a construction equipment distributor and rental company in the Southwest. Mr. McClain is also a private equity investor focusing primarily on projects in wireless communications, industrial and biotech.
He is a member of the Industry Advisory Council executive committee at ASU's Del Webb School of Construction, a Life Director of the Arizona Builders Alliance and served as President in 1994. He also served as a National Director of the Associated Builders and Contractors and as a Director and Past President of the Associated Equipment Dealers of Arizona. Mr. McClain received his BS and MBA from the University of Oregon.
